What you will Need:
1 TSP Salt (doesn't work without this in it don't skip) 1 pack of Knox Gelatin (some recipes tell you to use 2 but i used one for less firm) Mold.. or container to pour your liquid in.. (I used a silicone egg mold) 1/2 Cup Shower gel 3/4 Cup Hot water food coloring mixing bowl How: Pour 1/2 of shower gel in to your bowl (pick any shower gel that lathers up really well add 1 pack of gelatin , some recipes call for 2 packets of gelatin but i feel like it would be to gummy Mix those together then add 3/4 of very hot water in to your bowl, mix together your ingredients well so that everything is dissolved and their is no lumps or bumps. Now add in your 1 TSP of salt If you want a different color shower jelly then add in a few drops of food coloring to change or brighten up your color.. I used blue and green.. and it turns out well as a vibrant green and blue because i used a orange body soap. Mix everything together.. and get your molds ready, i didn't have to spray them with anything , i picked this mold because i felt it was easier to get out when they are set.. and they did. Pour these in your fridge overnight.. i put mine in about 12-18 hours and they set up very well.. and my kids loved them.. They dissolved in the bathtub easily and left no residue like some of the lush ones can . This recipe allowed me to make 6 shower jellies Until the next post Stay Bbeautiful Enjoy Lola and family |
